Trade Support Analyst | LDN
I'm currently partnered with a global prop-trading firm who are looking for a Trading Technical Support Engineer to join their team in London. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded technologist with strengths in Python, SQL and Linux. This provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with traders and refine the codebase to improve and automate operations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify ETL pipelines produce correct pricing data each morning.
- Bring up ETF pricing software and provide operational trading support.
- Improve operational procedures, scripts, and workflows.
- Collaborate with traders, developers, and other teams to meet technology needs.
- Provide on-site support from 6:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Python experience, including Pandas and object-oriented design.
- 2+ years of SQL experience, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Basic knowledge of Bash and Linux environment.
- Punctuality and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
