Senior Financial Analyst
Key Duties:
Management Reporting:
- Compile and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Create and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer insights to senior management.
- Work with various departments to collect and interpret financial data for management reporting.
- Deliver detailed variance analysis and performance explanations to aid business decisions.
Land Forecasting:
- Perform financial analysis and forecasting for land acquisitions and development projects.
- Draft pro forma financial statements for potential land deals.
- Track and evaluate land inventory and pipeline, including cost, revenue, and profitability projections.
- Collaborate with land acquisition and development teams to assess potential land deals and provide financial insights.
FP&A Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Build financial models to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and business performance.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic planning.
Strategic Analysis:
- Assist with strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and insights.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making.
- Examine market trends and economic conditions to guide strategic decisions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the homebuilding or real estate industry.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and land acquisition analysis.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

- Able to use CRT/screens, keyboards, mouse/pointing devices, etc., associated with contemporary computers.
