Selby Jennings has partnered with a key account in the tech space that's looking to scale up their Financial Operations team in Westford, MA! This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity that requires five days per week on site.
Responsibilities:
- Set standards and guidelines for vendors.
- Analyze and improve data quality processes.
- Validate software license data for upgrades.
- Define requirements for customer updates with product management.
- Resolve product database inquiries.
- Compile and analyze data quality metrics.
- Perform regression testing for Oracle updates.
- Develop and report operational metrics.
- Conduct root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Build relationships and influence teams for process efficiency.
- Support monthly close processes and financial reporting.
- Drive operational excellence with finance managers.
- Execute internal control procedures.
- Identify and solve reporting issues.
- Partner with IT for Business Intelligence tool rollouts.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and special projects.
- Participate in internal controls and annual audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3 years of financial/accounting experience in technology.
- Experience with large ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Preferred software industry/public company experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Team player with a proactive approach.
- Inquisitive nature and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter adaptable to change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Flexible and organized with strong prioritization skills.
