Position Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Private Equity Associate to join our team. This individual will support the firm's investment activities, with a focus on the dynamic TMT sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the TMT landscape and will work alongside senior investment professionals to source, evaluate, and execute investments in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment Sourcing & Analysis: Identify and assess investment opportunities in the TMT sector, leveraging market research, financial modeling, and due diligence processes.
  • Deal Execution: Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment transactions, including coordinating with legal, finance, and operational teams.
  • Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build complex financial models, perform valuation analysis, and conduct sensitivity analysis to assess investment returns and risks.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth due diligence on potential investments, analyzing financial performance, market positioning, and growth potential within the TMT space.
  • Market & Industry Research: Stay abreast of trends, innovations, and market shifts within the TMT sector, providing insights to the team and supporting investment decision-making.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in monitoring and managing the firm's existing TMT investments, collaborating with portfolio companies to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Investor Reporting & Presentations: Prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders, including investment committees and limited partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting, with a strong focus on the TMT sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, analyze, and execute TMT sector investments, with a strong understanding of industry trends and dynamics.
  • Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
