Front Office Quant Researcher
A Leading Investment Bank in Dubai is looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join their cross-asset modelling team. This role involves developing and maintaining pricing models, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting trading desks. You will work on complex financial modelling challenges, directly impacting trading activity and risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design and develop pricing models for new products and business initiatives.
- Quantitative Testing: Perform quantitative testing of models, including implementation testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) sign-off.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for models and their respective in-scope products.
- Performance Monitoring: Run performance monitoring frameworks for valuation models and develop new monitoring capabilities.
- Model Maintenance: Maintain and continuously enhance existing models and modelling capabilities.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide support to trading desks for all model/product-related queries.
- Model Validation: Ensure models are validated on time and as per regulatory frequency, providing necessary inputs to Model Validation and Internal Audit.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage business and risk stakeholders, present to committees, and engage with model validation, internal audit, and other relevant stakeholders.
Key Skills and Experience
- Quantitative Expertise: Extensive knowledge in stochastic calculus, partial differential equations, algorithmics, optimisation, Monte Carlo simulations, and traditional pricing modelling.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in VBA, Python, and C++ for quantitative development.
- Industry Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience as a quant in Front Office and/or Model Validation.
- Product Knowledge: Good understanding of products across different asset classes, including Rates, FX, Equity, and Commodities.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and internal model risk management frameworks.
