Our client is a well-established combined insurance carrier and pension solutions provider. They are a reputable brand built for over a century, with a fast-growing international presence and over 10,000 staff based across their physical locations throughout Europe, LATAM, and APAC.
They are currently seeking to bolster their Actuarial function with a Head of Group Non-Life Actuarial, who will report directly to the Group Risk Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical and operational aspects of an existing 10-person Non-Life Actuarial department, driving and ensuring regulatory compliance, and combining stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to act as a figurehead and representative for their international Actuarial teams. At the Group level, this will involve oversight of reserving, reporting, risk modelling, transformations, and validations for their global Non-Life business across Personal, Commercial, and Specialty Lines.

Requirements:
- Degree graduate in a numerate/quantitative field, i.e., Mathematics, Actuarial Science etc.
- 10+ years of experience in Non-Life Actuarial with a strong background in reserving.
- 3-5+ years of experience in leadership and management functions, ideally for international teams.
- Professional-level communication skills in English and German, with additional languages an advantage.
- Clear understanding of prudential provisions, regulatory requirements, and Swiss Solvency Testing methods.
- Relocation to be considered for candidates with eligible Swiss and/or EU citizenship.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base compensation of CHF 180,000-220,000 (DOE).
- Annual performance-based target bonus of 25%.
